Since you consider that IV did nothing to reverse July 2 VB, why are you hanging around here? If you credit AILA/AILF why don't you write to them to file Class Action against USCIS to process case FIFO? They might do it or they might just laugh it off
I would say the reversal of the July 2 visa bulletine didn't just happen because of the flowers the members sent, the law suit AILA wanted to file against USCIS was one of the major reason apart from the California's Lawmakers letter. So please don't try to cut peoples idea by trying to belittle them, if you don't agree with them it is ok, if everyone agreed on the same thing life will be so dull.

I agree absolutely. Living right here near DC and being a victim of the present USCIS mess, I still did not know about this campaign until a family member from India mentioned about it after reading it in the local newspaper.
I quickly signed up on this site and sent the flowers to be delivered yesterday.
I think the biggest 'thank you' belongs to Chidananda Rajghatta of the Times of India as far as the media is concerned. After all, it was his report in TOI that lit a fire under this campaign!

Well Said mate! The problem in these forums is if you have an opinion that differs from the majority, you are considered a snob. Sadly the underlying problem is EB3-I and EB3-I alone nothing else. :)

Also I agree with most of what kshitijnt says but why should somebody apologize even after he has placed 4 employees and has worked for 2 years. He did not leave within couple of months for crying out loud. Some of the desi employers are so greedy and unethical that even after you slog with them for years, they still want to hold on to something just to prove they are employer/boss. This is a lesson for people wanting to help their employers business. I would tell them that it is none of their business to help their employer�s business.
Yes I agree with you, Some are really nastly dont give anything in writting , Dont even apply for H1b until you force them when they hire you on OPT, I have seen some of my freinds had to go back to India because of them. They are to be taugh a lesson, If we are immigants they are too.

There were so many rejected L1 Individual petitions filed by TCS/Infy/Wipro etc.. These big companies will include all the internal tools in the resumes and INS asked for the purchase orders for all the specialised tools.
As there were no PO's for those tools, petitions were rejected in large numbers. This has started in the last year and continuing... i personally have lot of friends whose petitions were rejected and went back to India..
I also know a few people from these companies. Remember when the senators/congressmen sent the letters asking for explanation of how they are using h-1/l-1. Companies responded with the biggest bull---- answers.
Now they are seeing what happens when you don't take serious when government representatives ask you things. Unfortunately; they are being picked on but everyone else is becoming collateral damage.

I see the priority date for caydee as March 2006 from the profile.. Does this mean, USCIS has already started processing cases that are going to be current from September 1st??

I don't find anything wrong with that, there are more important social issues than spending time on greencard seeker forums......Atleast 1 attorney who explained it elaborately was Ron Gotcher, you can check on his website for that info...

If someone is from USA and they go to your country and live there for five years; they do not have historical context of why things are done the way they are done; no matter how long they research it.

Hey All,- I've not been that active, but will try to be hence forth. Below are my proposals to rephrase the present 'Flower Campaign" press release. I'm open to suggestions.
I felt the need to explain "why the over subscription and what part USCIS had in it" and also in the mean time point to the "overzealous work done by USCIS on June 30 and July 1st".
Sentence in the press release: However, due to over-subscription, thousands of highly-skilled workers, including engineers, scientists and health care professionals have been waiting patiently for years in order to be eligible to apply for their Green cards.
My take on this: Due to inefficiency of USCIS in the past years, 187,000+ visas have been wasted according to Ombudsman report. This act is to be blamed partly for the present scenario of over-subscription of thousands of law abiding and tax paying highly-skilled workers, including engineers, scientists and health care professionals who have been waiting patiently for years in order to be eligible to apply for their Green cards.
USCIS's sudden backlog reduction efforts during the past month have resulted in the use of almost 60,000 Employment numbers among which 18,000 were used on June 30 (Saturday) and July 1st (Sunday) according to (Quote source).

Incorrect
As per law one should have intent to work full-time for the employer (or AC-21 employer) at the time of approval. There is no time period specified.
The intent, of course, can change after some time. Lawyers differs on the duration. Some argue it is 90 days, whereas others suggest 180 days or 1 year.

We have explained you during the phone conversation that it is not the right time to pick up country limits issue. We have run this by our strategist again and they have also advised us that its not the right time for this issue. Others on the forum, including unitednations, have also made an attempt to explain you the issues we are all dealing with. You are free to do whatever you think is best for you. We think that your actions are likely to harm the community effort.
