Its unfortunate you are confused. Still appreciate you took sometime even with this confused state of mind to give your valuable 2 cents.
First of all, its not between me and employer for that matter. USCIS is delaying the process with no logical reason ( am i repeating myself from my first post - hopefully you read again and properly this time Mr.confused ).

Plain and simple question, are you a donor or a volunteer.. if yes.. then you must be aware of
the different initiatives that IV has taken up for EB3, which I guess you are not aware of.
As you don't want to donate or volunteer what makes you think that you can tell IV on what to do and what not to do.. Are you even associated in anyways.
I have never ever seen such a big thankless following of a group. Everyone is in trouble and everyone has problem but cannot donate.
Wanted to write a lot more , but I think its not worth it. I just hope your conscious makes you feel ashamed of this attitude of yours.
I don't usually comment on such posts and I have seen a lot of people take the side I am about to take. I just think you are being unnecessarily rude. It is these people and their opinions that cause IV to exist as a group. Lets say you are going to lock membership only to people paying a membership fee every month. How big a group are you going to get?
If it is going to be significant, then maybe that's the way IV should go and should just shut down public forums where there are members who can talk and members who have "not bought their right to talk"
I bring up the "monthly membership" issue because I did make donations on multiple occasions (you should probably look up your records and verify). And yet, under the new design, I am not a donor, I do not get access to the exclusive threads that only the privileged monthly members do. So, just like the OP, I am a thankless member who thinks the group is thankless. Maybe you should just create a little forum of yours in one corner and put walls around so no one can come in and make suggestions about things you won't tell them about. United states postal service. My lawyer sent it on june 29 and to this day it's a mestry to me how it was delivered at 10:10 pm at night. I did not think anybody would accept it. BUt if they were working on 25000 in 48 hours. The only reason i think they took it is to finish the number of visa available.

Agreed that H-1B has a fixed date. But from the employer standpoint, you're their "full-time, permanent" employee on H-1B, right?

Employer sponsors GC so that employee that is temporarily employed on H-1B can become permanently employed on GC job.

Well, culture has tremendous impact on people. Looking at the state of our country, what have we become in last 63+ years? Major percentage of population still live under poor living conditions. We are one of the most corrupted countries in the world. Some people want to live in denial. Boasting about greatness that doesn't exist is of no use to the current and future generations. We have to make our country great by changing the conditions. In order to do that, first we need to acknowledge that there are serioous issues. Unless we all unitedly agree that the conditions are pathetic and will worsen, nothing is going to change.

I am also proud of where India has reached in the last 20 years or so (especially since some of the purely socialist policies became capitalist leaning). Today Indians are giving Americans some serious and tough competition for jobs, not an easy feat. According to me, things are always grey - there is no black and white. So be proud of your achievements, and learn to accept problems and work on them is my motto in life.

Right now I see great opportunities waiting to be grabbed in India, and I am going back in pursuit of them. India or the US - I know that I will be happy in either place. Same situation here as well. June 26th was the date USCIS cashed my check, still no sign of any EAD..heck no LUD either except for an AP LUD, and I did not apply for AP renewal at all! Darn I need that EAD very soon...

My case little different, my 485 pending at Nebraska and I mailed EAD renewal at Texas (because I live in PA, per instructions in form).
Do you think my EAD will get stuck because of this? I hope I did right thing.

The derivative files using primary's PD. read all posts in this thread, the I485 form and INA. it is clearly in the law.
